Until now, we have only had controls and tasks for the controls in annex A. That is, the part of the standard that deals with the actual security (encryption, access control, network segmentation, etc.).
Now we have upgraded the framework so that the system can also support your compliance with the clauses. That is, the part of the standard that deals with the implementation and operation of your information security management system (ISMS) (management engagement, awareness of stakeholders, resource allocation, etc.).
This is relevant if:
1) You are going to be certified in ISO 27001.
2) You are simply interested in having a solid framework for managing your information security.
If you do not want this, you should go into your controls and archive those that have included "Clause" in the name (As shown on anbove screenshot). Then all the underlying tasks will also disappear.
